Working together to bring lasting change
Rather than working in isolation, our approach is to walk alongside individuals and work with other organisations which brings together different skills and experience so that we can bring about lasting change as we listen to one another.
Derby City Vision
Many churches in Derby work together under the banner of ‘City Vision’ which seeks to bring unity among leaders from the church and charity sectors as we serve the city of Derby together. Many of our volunteers are part of churches who are part of City Vision and we seek to serve different initiatives that come from the churches in Derby.
NHS
Our Sexual Health Clinic is hosted at St Thomas Church and we greatly value the hospitality which St. Thomas provides. We are building some great connections with the Derbyshire Sexual Health Promotion team and are looking forward to future opportunities together.
Epiphany Project
Our Epiphany project is a great example of how different organisations can play their part in bringing something into being that wouldn’t otherwise be possible. Walbrook Epiphany will continue to own the building and will work in partnership with other organisations to ensure a long-term sustainable business model.
Green Pastures have the necessary skills and experience to build and then manage the studio flats and offer one on one support to the residents. Jacob’s Well will help form the new project to coordinate the training and development programme. St Thomas’ Community will oversee the spiritual support through prayer, campaigns, and volunteering.
