We always love to hear from people who are passionate about our work and love to welcome new people to join our team. If there is a specific skill you have we would love to explore if we can incorporate it into our support. At Jacob’s well we recognise that every team member brings their unique skills and expertise to the role.
Outreach support
Restore does weekly outreach on a Tuesday evening in the Derby City area. If you are confident in engaging in conversation with new people, are a good listener and are passionate about women feeling empowered this might be the volunteering role for you!
Befriending Support
Restore also provides one to one befriending support where we meet with women during the day and try to meet their individual need - for example, one woman might require support with a housing meeting, doctor appointment or just to meet for a coffee and chat in a cafe. This role would require you to be flexible, confident in engaging in conversation, and excellent listening skills.
Fundraising Support
Would you like to get involved but not on the front line? Fundraising is a vital role for our project and would love to hear from you if you can hold a cake sale, do a sponsored event, 10k run or maybe even a sky dive! Fundraising events are a great way to raise money but also raise awareness of the work that we do.
